Jèryh Luz is a 29-year-old singer-songwriter and composer from Rotterdam. From a young age, she was drawn to music, dance, and theatre, and began playing her first instrument, the violin, at the age of seven. Her love for music, combined with her strongly musical family background, has played a key role in shaping her passion.

After completing her theatre studies in secondary school, she continued her training at the Conservatory, where she further developed her skills and gradually discovered her own sound. Her Cape Verdean roots, along with her connection to jazz, fusion, and (neo-)soul, play an important role in her artistic development.

In 2024, Jèryh Luz released her debut EP LUZ, and she will be releasing new work again this year.

Noam Wallé
Noam Wallé is an artist, musician and producer based in the Netherlands. He began playing guitar at the age of seven and started playing in bands with friends from school when he was fifteen. Music has always been an important part of his family — his uncle, aunt and grandfather were all musicians — which meant he was supported from an early age. That support allowed him to take music seriously and pursue a professional career as a musician.

By the time he graduated from Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam in 2022, he had already toured with his band Crudo Collective at the Sound of Europe Festival in Turkey and performed as a session musician with various local artists throughout the Netherlands, including Jèryh Luz, Shaynah and Julia Zahra.

Last year, he performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival with Crudo Collective. In April and May this year, he also joined bassist and singer Andro on an eleven-show tour as support act for Chef’Special, performing at venues such as Paradiso and TivoliVredenburg.

Noam is heavily influenced by artists such as D’Angelo, Questlove, George Benson, Herbie Hancock, Al Di Meola, Munir Hossn, Marcus Miller, Robert Glasper, Cory Henry, Isaiah Sharkey, Wes Montgomery, Chico Pinheiro and Erykah Badu. He loves blending genres such as jazz, hip hop, latin, West African music, Caribbean influences and neo-soul into a sound of his own.

Playing guitar and creating music has always been a way for Noam to meditate and stay present in the moment. For him, music is about creating freely without the pressure of commercial expectations. If the music feels right to him and his fellow musicians, they can project that feeling onto the audience — and that is what music is truly about.
