Amelie Spinks Duo

Vanuit haar Nieuw-Zeelandse roots brengt singer-songwriter Amelie Spinks liedjes vol herinneringen, verlangen en persoonlijke verhalen naar Chateau du Lac, een van de meest bijzondere locaties van Hoek van Holland. Geïnspireerd door country- en folktradities uit haar thuisland schrijft Amelie Spinks songs die de menselijke ervaring onderzoeken en warmte zoeken in het onbekende. Met subtiel gitaarspel, poëtische melodieën en een zachte, karaktervolle stem presenteert ze een selectie van nieuwe en eerdere nummers. Tijdens dit concert wordt ze begeleid door gitarist Adrian Bifano. Vanuit hun gedeelde liefde voor folk en jazz vonden de twee muzikanten elkaar in een natuurlijk en intuïtief samenspel. Chateau du Lac is een uniek privémuseum en fotolocatie op het terrein van Kwekerij Duinland. Tussen historische objecten, antieke auto’s en authentieke gebouwen vormt deze verborgen plek een decor dat je nergens anders vindt.

Inspired by the folk and country traditions of her homeland, Amelie writes songs that explore the human experience and seek warmth in the unfamiliar. With delicate guitar playing, poetic melodies and a gentle yet expressive voice, she presents a selection of both new and earlier work. For this performance, she is joined by guitarist Adrian Bifano. United by a shared love of folk and jazz, the two musicians have developed a natural and intuitive musical connection. Chateau du Lac is a unique private museum and photography location situated on the grounds of Kwekerij Duinland.
