Bij dit Buurtconcert viert Mahogany Trio het leven met een vrolijke muzikale reis door de tijd, van de jaren 60 tot nu. Internationale hits, pop, country, soul, blues, rock-’n-roll en natuurlijk Surinaamse swing zorgen voor een avond vol herkenning en dansplezier. Met ervaring, charme en een flinke dosis humor bouwen deze drie doorgewinterde musici een feest voor en met het publiek. Leve de nostalgie, leve de gezelligheid!
At this neighbourhood concert, Mahogany Trio celebrates life with an uplifting musical journey through time, from the 1960s to today. International hits, pop, country, soul, blues, rock ’n’ roll and, of course, Surinamese swing come together for an evening full of recognition and danceable joy. With experience, charm and a great sense of humour, these three seasoned musicians create a celebration with and for the audience. Long live nostalgia, long live good times!
In 2026 start in Romeynshof een nieuwe serie Zondagmiddagconcerten. Van januari tot en met juli kun je hier elke derde zondag van de maand terecht voor live muziek en dans in de vertrouwde sfeer van de Buurtconcerten: gratis, toegankelijk en voor iedereen. Verwacht warme middagen vol nieuwe geluiden, ontmoeting en verrassende combinaties, midden in de wijk. Een plek om samen te komen, te luisteren en je te laten meenemen. In 2026, a new series of Sunday afternoon concerts will begin at Romeynshof. From January through July, you can come here every third Sunday of the month for live music and dance in the familiar atmosphere of the Buurtconcerten: free, accessible, and for everyone.
