Listening to the Cracks van Lucija Gregov, Matthias Hurtl en Yoana Buzova begint met een begeleide soundwalk door Charlois en eindigt bij Varia in een live performance waarin veldopnames en originele muziek samenkomen. Het project onderzoekt de verweven relatie tussen mensen en niet-menselijke stadsdieren en laat je op een andere manier luisteren naar de stad. Geluiden en sporen in lucht, bodem en water vormen het vertrekpunt voor een performance die verborgen ritmes en nauwelijks hoorbare lagen van de stedelijke omgeving naar voren haalt.
Listening to the Cracks by Lucija Gregov, Matthias Hurtl and Yoana Buzova begins with a guided soundwalk through Charlois and ends at Varia with a live performance combining field recordings and original music. The project explores the intertwined relationship between humans and non-human urban animals, inviting you to listen to the city in a different way. Sounds and traces found in air, soil and water become the starting point for a performance that brings forward hidden rhythms and barely audible layers of the urban environment.

North Sea Round Town en creatieve broedplaats Batavierhuis presenteren ook dit jaar samen een concertreeks met de Batavieren. Van schurende jazz tot kleine liedjes, van folk en pop tot neo-klassiek en improvisatie: de serie laat de veelzijdigheid van de makers en hun nieuwste projecten horen. De concerten vinden plaats in het monumentale Batavierhuis aan de Coolhaven én op verschillende locaties verspreid door de stad.
North Sea Round Town and creative hub Batavierhuis once again present a concert series together with the Batavieren. From raw-edged jazz to intimate songs, and from folk and pop to neo-classical and improvisation, the series highlights the versatility of the artists and their latest projects. Concerts take place at the monumental Batavierhuis in Coolhaven as well as at various locations across the city.
