Tijdens het slotweekend van North Sea Round Town bruist Rotterdam van de livemuziek met Jazz Rotterdam Centrum: een weekend lang openluchtoptredens op de iconische shoppingstraten van de stad. Denk aan Central Plaza, Kruiskade, Lijnbaan en Binnenwegplein – bij de bekende sinaasappelkraam – en de Koopgoot, Beursplein en WTC-shops: plekken waar veelzijdige bands je meenemen in warme grooves, jazzy vibes, neo-soul en Braziliaanse ritmes.
Hier geen afgebakend podium of entreekaartje, maar muziek die je zomaar tegemoetkomt. Terwijl je langsloopt, shopt of even stilstaat in de drukte van het centrum. Alles gebeurt on the spot, met ruimte voor improvisatie, spelplezier en directe interactie. Laat je meevoeren langs verschillende werelden: van soulvolle improvisaties tot zwoele Braziliaanse klanken, van speelse jazz tot diepe, hedendaagse grooves.

During the final weekend North Sea Round Town, Rotterdam comes alive with live music through Jazz Rotterdam Centrum: a weekend of open-air performances across the city’s most iconic shopping streets. From Central Plaza and Kruiskade to Lijnbaan, Binnenwegplein – near the well-known fresh juice stand – and the Koopgoot, Beursplein and WTC shops, you’ll find bands bringing the streets to life with warm grooves, jazzy vibes, neo-soul and Brazilian rhythms.
There are no stages or tickets here – just music that finds you. As you walk, shop or pause for a moment in the bustle of the city centre. Everything happens on the spot, with space for improvisation, playfulness and direct interaction.
