Dit concert eert verhalenvertellers als hoeders van geschiedenis, taal en cultureel erfgoed. Ter gelegenheid van het 1-jarig bestaan van Galerie NOIR NOIR staat de West-Afrikaanse griot-traditie centraal, een orale cultuur die doorleeft in hiphop en spoken word. In een intieme, muzikaal en visueel experimentele setting komen DJ Eni-Less, The Name is Damaris, KARPACHII, Bruno Ferro Xavier Da Silva, Malumba Anderson en Kay Slice samen. Omgeven door Afro-Caribische en Afrikaanse kunst krijgt deze traditie nieuw leven.
